Review on Good Grips Extendable Tub and Tile Brush by OXO by Jacob Seymour

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good idea but poorly executed

I love OXO products. They are usually so well designed. But this brush misses. There are 2 brushes. The bottom brush is shaped like an iron with a blunt end. The top brush dissolves. It stands for the bottom brush. If you want to hit a corner with the bottom brush, you can't because the top brush prevents it. I have a disability and needed a brush to clean the tub and tile floor. It didn't work any better than the brushes I already had or a 50 cent washcloth. for one thing. I find the bristles are too long because they bend too much. Cleans the tips of the bristles so you don't have to bend them too much. I believe this brush would be more effective if the bristles were half the length. The handle feels sturdier than the Swiffer mop but I wish it was more durable. I cleaned the grout on the tiled floor with a narrow, stiff brush and immediately rinsed it off. Yesterday I used the OXO brush. I cleaned the grout a bit but the tile stayed dirty. I switched to a tile cleaning sponge and drain cleaning brush from Revain Basics (OXO is better). Voila! The tile quickly washed, joints too. You can find these brushes in dollar stores, two.
