The operation of the belt is quite simple and convenient to use. I like the metal finish and the leather is really good. They trim it, so be careful not to cut it too short. I almost did because I measured my waist, not the length it took me to get through the locking mechanism. give yourself 5-6 more than you need and try it on. You can get an inch closer as you walk and don't risk ruining it with your own excitement like I did. ha ha recommended!
