Review on Osea Universal Workbench Drilling Workshop by Brad Lovro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Handy tools, like.

The drill is light. I drilled through the vertical post and base of the die body for a 5/16 screw as I plan on using this part hard (but not often). My Hitachi 7 amp drill had a larger chuck than the collet, so I removed the chuck to install it in the drill. I drilled holes for and screwed a 3/4 piece of plywood under the base. I also drilled about 1.375 holes in the plywood and base for the drill gap. I used two C-Clamps to attach the base to the trailer's heavy (7000 lb) steel frame. A frame made from a steel corner 3/16 thick. I had to drill 8 holes and I'm not getting any younger. The modified part worked like a charm: the holes were easily and successfully drilled without tiring me or twisting my arms. I was very satisfied with the good performance for the price. If you use it professionally for many years all day, you'll probably need to spend more money. Perfect for home use when manual operation of a large, high-torque drill has become difficult.

Pros
  • New adjustable drill stand
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
