Review on Gemini Sound SOUNDSPLASH Resistant Rechargeable by Marcus Powell

Loud doesn't mean good

Cool speaker, but the sound is weak. I've tested it side-by-side with other less expensive speakers and this one performed very poorly. The mids sound OK, but the highs are cut off and the bass is okay. Normally I wouldn't be so critical, but this is an expensive device and takes up a lot of space. I took this for our van so we can play music at camp. (Disclaimer: We camp in remote deserts where no one can hear us except people in our own group, so don't judge me. Go ahead and judge me, but I promise I'm a very responsible tourist.) Like anyways, we love making noise and having fun there and i was hoping it would really help. It just isn't. I appreciate the fact that it's built to withstand the elements, but I just can't get over the low fidelity. -Bluetooth-Speakers-Portable-Gatherings/dp/B07T2JDQ3X) which reproduces the sound 10 times better. This speaker is also waterproof and durable for outdoor use and sounds a lot better than this one. The volume is a little lower, but the sound is much better. I really regret choosing this speaker because of the price and disappointing sound quality. I'll stick with it because we like watching backyard movies on a projector screen and this device will be very good for that. In general, it is suitable for an outdoor barbecue when there is a large crowd and no one cares about the sound quality.
