I have been using the Foodsaver for years to vacuum pack food for freezing or sous vide. I've always bought bags or rolls direct from Foodsaver, especially game storage bags, as I've found they seal better and stay airtight better than lighter bags. The downside is the cost. they are quite expensive. I'm not too keen on this vacuum sealer and was looking for alternatives when I came across these bags. I ordered a pack of 50 pints, quarts and gallons. That's 150 bags cheaper than what I usually pay for 40 branded bags. I've used each of them and find them to be durable like game bags. I also find they seal better in my Foodsaver than branded bags. I highly recommend them regardless of the price. The fact that they're a lot cheaper is an absolute boon.
