packages OAK NOT correct. At first I thought I was using the vacuum sealer incorrectly. It's not like this. The bags will not be tight enough to release all of the air. Then I tried another brand and voila! Properly sucked. I wish I had my money back!

I like the thickness of these lock bags. The smaller size works great. The larger size has a defect and no matter how hard I try the material just doesn't hold up. I think it was damaged or cut during production. In the photo you can see the stripe on the bag. I bought them a while ago and mostly use the smaller size. Recently tried using a larger size and found a problem.

I usually buy branded bags that are not on the market but they were out of stock for a few months and I needed bags so I gave these a try. They said they were heavy and they had good reviews but I was very disappointed. If you're trying to seal something with no liquids/juice, they might work fine, but they couldn't seal anything properly with juice. I've sealed my chicken twice with 3x more headroom than needed, but the bags don't seal properly and the vacuum only lasts 2 or 3 minutes.

Thought I'd order two 50ft rolls to cut to size. I received pre-cut packages. I ended up using them anyway since I had to freeze about 100 pounds of fresh pork. The bags were great. They weren't as thick as the Cabelas brands I buy from their store, but they fitted really well. I have a vacuum master and it has worked well with these bags. It would have been five stars if I didn't have to spend a lot of packs as the ones I got were larger than most portions I wanted to freeze.

I bought these to use with the Foodsaver. I like the value for money. The quality isn't as good as the well-known brands, but they do their job. The main disadvantage is that the swaths are so large that they do not fit into the machine. You need to measure, cut and seal the original bag on the outside of the machine or on the back until almost half of the roll is used. Aside from the inconvenience of the size, it's worth the amount you get compared to the cost.

I have been using the Foodsaver for years to vacuum pack food for freezing or sous vide. I've always bought bags or rolls direct from Foodsaver, especially game storage bags, as I've found they seal better and stay airtight better than lighter bags. The downside is the cost. they are quite expensive. I'm not too keen on this vacuum sealer and was looking for alternatives when I came across these bags. I've only made a few bags so far but they seem sturdy, easy to make and work well. I would give it 5 stars for durability, but Revain asks for reviews right after purchase (sometimes before it ships!), so freezer lifespan is virtually unknown. At the moment I would recommend them.
