Review on Fiskars SureCut Portable Trimmer Recycled by Morgan Gilmore

This is my first paper trimmer. I wanted something for light, general purpose home use at a reasonable price. Fiskars is a well-known brand and most reviews have been positive. I also needed one fast and it was available with Prime shipping so I ordered it. So far he's done a great job. Easy to use and the wire guide really helps to see where the cut is being made. The pivoting ruler is also a nice feature. I've used it for cutting documents and also making greeting cards out of 65 lb paper. The fattest thing I tried to cut were four sheets of 24 pound printer paper and the cut was clean enough. However, I'm not sure how much thicker it can handle without getting torn edges. The cutting bar holds the paper with light pressure. The trimmer doesn't slide on the countertop when I use it. This is so much better than trying to just cut the ruler with scissors - I wish I'd bought them sooner.
