Flimsy Cutter for Amateur Crafters

The cutter is compact and ideal for small Arts and Crafts projects. However, it makes uneven cuts, even when properly aligned, and the blade is dull after only a few uses.

Pros
  • Compact and portable
Cons
  • Flimsy and poor quality blade.

So glad I have this trimmer

This is my first paper trimmer. I wanted something for light, general purpose home use at a reasonable price. Fiskars is a well-known brand and most reviews have been positive. I also needed one fast and it was available with Prime shipping so I ordered it. So far he's done a great job. Easy to use and the wire guide really helps to see where the cut is being made. The pivoting ruler is also a nice feature. I've used it for cutting documents and also making greeting cards out of 65 lb paper…

Pros
  • SureCut wire cutting line makes it easy to see where the blade is going to cut for unparalleled precision
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Best for the price, thin for practicality

Material Quality: Very thin it's not even solid plastic but the bottom is hollowed out. I used some Thermocol to give it weight and make it more durable. The material is somehow attacked by the slightest oil on the fingers and it becomes oily and stained. You might want to keep this in mind. 2/5Price: The cheapest paper cutter you will find. So I can't wish for anything better. 5/5 Practicality: Of course, the only basis for judging a paper cutter is how well it cuts. The cutting blade is fine.

Pros
  • 12 inches long and cuts seven sheets of paper at once
Cons
  • Something different
