Review on Uniden MHS335BT Floating Bluetooth Submersible by Kevin Taharka

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I tried to scan the radio at about 8 miles from well.

I tested this radio in my truck for about 3 weeks to see how it held up. I tried scanning the radio about 8 miles offshore to see if I could hear Coast Guard messages and it passed my test. The test was conducted on the California coast near Santa Monica Beach. When it comes to life safety I wouldn't use a product until I'm happy with what people have to say about the product. Do not get me wrong. It's always nice to hear positive feedback, but I like to convince myself first by doing what a lot of people don't like to do, which is take the time to find out what you're buying. works very well with a rechargeable battery and it will give you at least 6 hours without any problems. I always have a spare battery on hand no matter how well the battery performs. I have not tested the radio for water resistance because even if the radio is mentioned it is waterproof to a certain extent and I do my best to protect my electronics from getting wet. So this is my review and I hope it helps you in your decision.
