This is the best deal for a novice dog and can be disassembled to use as a tug for a larger dog. My little girl is 6 months old Malinois and I can feel her bite but it doesn't hurt or anything just pressure. They are well protected and have good grips. It disassembles so you can use it as a tow tractor. I have a very thin one when it was a few months old for puppy teeth and I can wear it underneath when it gets too big and until I need a big sleeve. We train with older male dogs and believe me this is NOT for a large adult strong dog but perfect for a growing young dog. The big expensive ones are too big and stiff for a young dog and this one suits them better and the price is definitely the best you will find.
