For many years I wore shoes from another company as they were the best for my severe foot problems. but they always pinched my toes a little causing discomfort and didn't last long (in terms of support). I felt it was a worthy compromise for the relief in my legs. Also, I could usually get them cheap. I have now found that the Beast has as much support if not better and has more room in the toe box making my toes very light. I wear 14w so finding shoes can be a challenge, especially for the price. Let's hope Beast by Brooks lasts twice as long to justify the price.
