The soft bulb is comfortable for sensitive eyes but bright enough to see everything.
I was fed up with the glare so I bought this lightbulb and put an LED in it. I can change colors, brightness, timers, etc. from my phone. Fabulous! I have included a picture to show how to attach the cord to the frame as the instructions are not detailed.
