Over the years I have bought various stuffed animal recorders to personalize messages. This is by far the best sound quality I've ever had. I see, and your voice sounds like YOU, not a mechanized robot. And no static background! The recording lasts almost 30 seconds, which is also considerable. There is only one thing that you need to know when choosing this particular voice recorder. Everything I've bought before is controlled by pressing the insert key next to the play button. I could write a message, sew it into a stuffed animal, and change it however I wanted by pressing the plush fur against the record button. Then play as usual. However, this one is done a little differently. Instead of a record button, the top of the device rotates, showing R for record, rotates and sees O for off, rotates again and sees P for play. As I said, the sound of the recording is exceptional, but I won't be able to tweak the turntable to random messages like before. I don't know exactly what needs to be done to make this work for me, but the device itself is pretty impressive.
