I have these to handle whatever happens on a tiny built in kitchen counter while leaving an open socket in the wall for my vacuum cleaner. I love that there is an on/off switch on each tier of outlets, so on the lowest tier I can leave my phone chargers plugged in and only turn them on while my devices are charging. It has a small footprint and is easy to get to. I love that you can coil up and hide the extra length of cord.
