Review on MagnaFlow Exhaust Products 12278 Muffler by Kevin Abner

Don't get me wrong; I love the Flowmaster products and other chamber style silencers. But they seem too loud for cars. I removed the main resonator and 2 main mufflers on my Lexus GS400 and the hum was too bad so I bought this unit and put it in place of the original front/main resonator. It then passes through 2 secondary resonators and exits through a straight tube. The drone is now at low level and sounds cute! Magnaflow stainless steel products can be expensive, but as a technician I have driven many cars with their mufflers and the sound has always been pleasant. Remember that the length and size of your whistles will affect the amount of buzz, so you don't have to blame the muffler.
