The title says it all. the same offset is 15ppm in dialing and the drift runs from +0.01/0.02 to -0.01/-0.02ppm. I would suggest getting a USB extension cable to keep it away from other electronics as they pick up signals quite well. I had one pretty close to the TV and found out I was going to need a new TV soon (I noticed some mess adjusting the TV volume. Gotta love the waterfall on those SDR programs!) So far these two are working flawlessly! Reception for using SDR? I can not complain. The range is very close to the mark and the drift is very tight. Much better than some other same style RTL sticks I've tried! We run them with 6 inch USB 2.0 extension cables. A little warm, but nothing critical. About as expected and comparable to any other RTL USB stick in terms of temperature. As with any radio receiver, the better the antenna, the better the reception, but the included antenna seems to work well for general use. Everything seems to be of decent quality so I would say you will be happy with the purchase. Both of mine ship from two different locations and both are pretty much identical in every way. I have to praise the quality control in production! For use as a cheap scanner the included antenna works fine (mileage may vary depending on location and environment), ADSB, ACARS no problem, VHF reception is great if you want to do other things e.g. B. Listening to ham radio bands etc.. I'm sure you'll "get by" with the supplied antenna (under the right conditions) but I would recommend buying the right antenna for your frequency range. plan to use it in . The right antenna for your application is of the utmost importance. Once you've set the offset and used the correct antenna for your application, you shouldn't have any problems. I cannot stress enough that not all antennas are created equal. Aside from finding the right antenna for your application, there's placement. The higher the better, the more unhindered the better. Now enough with this gibberish. I go and play with my new toy!
