Pros: - Sound is very impressive when plugged in - Reliable build quality - Good handling Bad: - Paired with iPhone without problems. Connects to my Windows 7 PC with no problems. Except that the PC driver installation failed and there is no sound. There's no documentation on the Logitech site, no driver to install manually which is utterly disappointing (doesn't work with Windows 7?) - Bluetooth sound on iPhone is good but costs no more than a decent much cheaper headset. β The hiss everyone is talking about is real. I mostly listen to it between tracks, not when the music is playing. However, if you listen to some types of music, I can see where they pop up and can be very annoying. - headband. It seems to be pressing hard on my head and wants to slip off the back of my head as well. Overall it was a good try, but it doesn't look like they tested the design well enough. Not worth the money in terms of Bluetooth. Without Bluetooth, buy the 6000 version or the Dre version. Disappointed, really wanted it to work. UPDATE After about two months of use: - Logitech support helped me to solve Bluetooth issues. Now it connects with no issues every time I turn it on. - As for the sound. My friend has a new version of Dr. Bought Dre's (BT in-ears). They're really good, well made, great sound, I'd love to have them to be honest. They are more portable when folded. But if, like me, you're not too concerned about the portability factor, Logitech has remarkable depth and richness compared to Dre. Dre are really good, if they hadn't been compared side by side they wouldn't have noticed. - Now about the quality between connected bluetooth verses. In truth, my quality in the BT method is excellent. Full, deep, high quality, no noise, nothing. So maybe it depends on the BT stack installed on each machine. I'm using a USB Medialink I got from Revain for about $18. So it's not a question of cost. The battery life is so good. I have a very long USB extension cable (Amazon brand again) and charge it when needed while listening, but this only happens when I have very long sessions as I do a lot of research and writing. I'd say I get 8-10 hours on a single charge and it takes me quite a bit of time to recharge while listening when needed. I would highly recommend them and have no hesitation in trying to get them working. I prefer them to Dre but it's my personal taste (they were really high quality and sounded great) but I prefer deep bass at the expense of portability as I use them on my desk or in my backpack. If I was on a plane I would prefer Dre's.
