This is the 240v version for a 20 amp plug/circuit, and it will not plug into a regular 120v outlet. When on, the fan runs all of the time. The heat coils turn on and off via the thermostat. So. it makes a good on-demand heater. Examples include heating a garage, workshop or a covered patio, etc. WHILE IN IT. It would not be good as the main all-of-the-time heater in those areas, keeping a basement or space from freezing temps, or as an heater for occupied indoor spaces because the fan stays on and it is not quiet.
