First time trying a SacVon toaster with the same display as this but with a cool digital timer on the dial. However, he couldn't toast my English muffins long enough for them to brown. It has a similar front display, but the tuning knob doesn't have a digital countdown timer, just a 5-dot timer above the knob. The same result, although the settings display is much larger than it should be and the knob doesn't turn easily. But it does toast my cupcakes longer so I can brown them (it has 9 power levels instead of 6 or more). It doesn't have a lift function for easier removal of the toast (isn't that standard by now?). SacVon seems to have more quality built in, but this one does what I want.
