My husband and I use this when we have to get up at night with our baby. It's bright enough to change a diaper, but not bright enough to wake any of us off duty or disrupt our 5 week old baby's evolving circadian rhythm. I charge it maybe once a week and it lasts intermittently for a few hours every night. The only thing that bothers me is the position of the color change setting. Often when I'm about to pick up an item, I accidentally hit the top and the lovely creamy white light changes to an intimidating bright red, and then I have to cycle through all the different color settings to get back to the one I prefer. Not tragic, but not perfect either.
