I have had these pillowcases for 6 years and have even bought them for a guest room and as gifts. I bought them mainly because to be honest we sometimes sweat at night or get sick and sweat a little more and I'm tired of my pillows turning yellow over time. I want to know that if I get sick or sweat, my pillow is well protected and I can quickly throw it in the wash. I also had a mattress topper for the same period with a new mattress and it did a fantastic job of protecting it too. A small blemish in my opinion is the micro-zipper. It may be in my old version and it has changed over the years, but I worry every time I wash my bedspread that extra threads or materials will collect when I close it again. Another thing I noticed is that the zipper, when fully closed, holds air very well and takes a little while to "deflate". To fix this, I leave the zipper open about 1 inch from the end to allow my memory foam pillows to revert to their normal shape.
