I found this item because I wanted to find a loose fitting shirt for my daughter but not a plus size. My daughter is nine years old and wears sizes 12 to 14. However, many shirts are very long in her size. This shirt is cut loose but still the right length for a size 10. V-neck is more suited to men but my daughter liked it. The shirt is loose, that is, wide, but not sloppy. The fabric is actually very dense and doesn't shimmer through. Would be great for layering but since it doesn't show through you can wear it alone if you like. This shirt was perfect for my needs and was exactly as described.
