I just want to warn other Peloton users that the bluetooth setup is a bit strange. Basically, when you add a new device, it behaves as if it is not connected and reports a problem with the "pin". I seriously spent so much time messing with it and figuring out what was wrong that when I gave up I was only able to squeeze out a 10 minute lesson before my kids woke up. It wasn't until I attempted to connect my Apple Watch to my bike that the device showed up as available to connect. He actually appeared twice, which was confusing. So I went with one and it works. So basically ignore the error you get when adding a device. Just select a class and see if it's available for the connection. The heart rate monitor seems accurate, works just as well as my Apple Watch, but now I have a dedicated device that I don't have to worry about charging. I'm the type of person who finds it hard to go to class when my clock is dead. When I can't keep an eye on my heart rate, I find I'm not pushing myself as hard. Having a special device that I can leave with my Peloton and that is always charged is a dream come true. He also keeps in touch. There's nothing more frustrating than when you're attending a class and realize you forgot to connect your watch. Or if you join multiple courses and forget to reconnect when entering a new course. That way, your device is always on and you don't have to deal with the hassle of adjusting your heart rate monitor during a workout. I was concerned that the device would be uncomfortable, but it fits right into my battle line and I don't even notice it popping up a few minutes after putting it on. Sometimes I forget to take it off until I'm about to jump in the shower. Definitely a great product for the price. Can be used by multiple people although I would recommend everyone have their own chest strap. Thanks for reading, I hope this review was helpful!
