I have a Samson e.Reader that is a little over 2 years old and one of the arms broke (it just broke off when I put it on). Bought this as a replacement. Initial Review: Pros: Clarity, optics are amazing. I've had 2 pairs of really cheap plastic blue light readers (also Revain buyers) and the lenses on this Donovan are clearly better. No glare. Very simple, with a slight strain on the eyes (I sit at work at the computer all day). Very clear view. Pros: BuildVery durable plastic and aluminum construction. The temple's design appears to be better than Samson's, which broke at the connection point near the bend (Samson's temple is in two pieces while Donovan's is in one piece). The lens is transparent, clean, without defects. Weaknesses: Weight The compromise of the best design is weight. Definitely heavier, even compared to Donovan. When it's on for so many hours a day, it can take a toll. I'm not entirely sure yet, but will update in a few weeks if I use it. 1 star deduction because of the significantly higher weight.
