Great glasses, stupid hinges

Foster Grant does some very strange things. Unlike almost every other pair of glasses you've ever seen, there are no screws on either side where the frame and temples meet. Instead there are these weird bolts that LOOK like bolts but never get tightened. 🙄 So they immediately feel loose and nothing can be done about it. I actually sent a pair back assuming they were defective but oddly they are manufactured. A brand new pair had the same problem. That little oddity aside, the glasses are great

I can't tell if they have a metal core with a plastic coating or if they're just solid plastic, but either way they seem very solid. I haven't seen any scratches from normal wear, although I haven't overused or dropped them. The hinge is…
