. They successfully cover worn areas but need to be straightened and refilled every time you get up, but that's a small price to pay for keeping old chairs looking decent. Arm pockets seem like a good idea, but you can only pack very light items in them or the covers will slide off. I haven't had to wash them yet, so I can't comment on that. Overall I'm happy with their looks and color (chocolate) and think they're worth the money. .
