Purchased size 7/8 for her almost 7 year old grandson. He is of average height and weight. The shirt appears to be made of good durable material and is very well made. He's a little loose and his arms are a little long, but I think he'll fit very well in a few months as he prepares for dramatic growth. He likes to wear a button-down shirt with a bow tie. He plans to wear his new shirt for school photos. It needs a little petting.
