The remote control and backlight worked great from the moment I turned it on. Played through all colors and modes. Turned them on the next day and they only had red, blue and yellow bike features. No white, no steady light. Removed and reinstalled the batteries in the light controller housing. Still an unstable feature. I think the problem is in the crappy little remote control. EDIT: Turns out the remote works fine. The problem is in the battery. Plug the flashlights into a regular portable phone charger via USB and everything works great. I'll just plug it into a cheap little backup phone charger. Really cheaper than changing batteries.
