These are the lightest and most adjustable reading glasses I have ever owned. And don't believe the trolls who talk disparagingly about the quality of the optics. They are excellent from end to end. I must also point out that they are made with a quality metal frame that allows you to adjust the width of the nose pad and earcups, and they are very light. For me this was vital as I was able to prevent them from slipping and becoming uncomfortable. I've had several store-bought readers and they worked well, but even the lightest ones were moderately heavy. This meant that if I wore them for a few hours they would dent my nose and they were a bit uncomfortable. Also, the headphones were only slightly adjustable, which meant they kept slipping down my nose. So I tried sticky pads, but they looked weird and had to be replaced regularly. Not the best solution! These glasses solve both problems very well. If there are glasses you can buy from an optician (expensive!) that work better than these, I can't imagine how they can. And I can't believe they would be worth the price. The only minor downside I have is that the included cases slam with the force of a snapping turtle. The cases are sleek, thin, and well lined, so I couldn't see why a star could be deducted for that. Excellent glasses, fully justify their price!
