Review on KRUPS Simply Single Serve Stainless Tumbler by Dominique Hughes

I don't like writing negative reviews, but I have nothing good to say about this coffee maker. I have a Krups coffee/espresso coffee maker that makes fantastic coffee so I was expecting something good from this coffee maker. First, the on/off instructions are confusing. Difficult to pour water into the block, the water slot is at the very end on the lid hinge. I had to find a small funnel so I could pour water into the kettle. The grounds basket is installed in an easily accessible container that can be washed and reused. I enjoy a cup of strong coffee made from freshly ground dark roast beans. To make a cup of coffee with this machine, I had to use four tablespoons of ground coffee to make a 12-ounce cup of decent coffee. My multi-cup coffee maker makes a great cup of coffee at 2 tablespoons per cup, but I have to make at least four cups of coffee at a time, which means the last two cups of coffee get bitter while they're in the pot, which is why I wanted an electric kettle to keep every cup fresh. WARNING: The included coffee mug is made of thin, uninsulated aluminum, so do not touch it after the coffee has brewed unless you want to burn your fingers. Now, with the incredibly high price of coffee beans, I can't afford to use twice as many coffee beans to brew one cup of coffee. Conclusion: I feel like I wasted my money on this device and cannot recommend it to anyone.
