Quick and easy solution to my 2005 Xterra's shifter slipping and not shifting. Check out the YouTube video and it will show you how to put it on quickly and painlessly. My only issue was that while maneuvering with the top of the switch I accidentally ripped out the switch socket and lost the bulb. This is the connector that attaches to the two green wires and plugs into the underside of the shifter on the back of the shifter. No big deal - it used a 74 bulb and after a bit of faith it snapped into place with no problem. The jack was easy to assemble and works great. Just make sure you pull the linkage out of the pivot area or put it down on something else you could drop the bushing and it will disappear into the deep recesses of your shifter console. It's easy to install by watching a YouTube video.
