I became a cat owner for the first time in a relatively small apartment with one bathroom. Kitty was adopted by a family who used cheap clay cat litter in their box. I couldn't use it as it made me sneeze and felt sick in my throat. The cat absolutely hated the highly rated deodorized "flushable" cat litter. Also, the expensive items didn't stick together, so things fell apart in the tray, which became awkward and stayed that way. Kitty did her best to avoid touching the filling, first sitting unsteadily on the edge of the box and then frantically wiping her paws on the edge of the box after the most casual attempt to cover herself. So I have a box of NATURAL WONDERS next to me. It is made from corn cobs. I have a moral objection to using corn or wheat litter as I believe it is a sin to force animals to use food as litter. But everything is fine with corn on the cob; and it has been claimed that the ground particles in this product are much more absorbent than other types of fillers. I hesitated a little when I smelled him. The pine smell is quite strong when you open the packaging and I was afraid this would discourage the cat from using it. No problem. It's excellent. I won't go on for too long, but if it sticks together, it stays stuck together; there is no smell of lumps and everything is washed off perfectly; and while the cat stalks out of the box a bit (again by wiping its paws), it doesn't get far and sweeps easily like other litters. I can't recommend it highly enough. What a relief.
