2.5 year old is a size 7.5c so I took an 8, was a little nervous as most reviews said you need 1-2 sizes up but they fit him perfectly! For a size reference, he wears a 7c in Crocs.
The 9 would probably fit too, just roomier in the toe box and might last longer, but I'm glad I got the 8.
- Very strong, heavy, but just small.
- One of the loops can be felt the first time you wear it, very disappointed
