I wanted a small GMRS radio to carry in my pocket at home. The radio itself is a nice compact device, but it looks like it's being built with one big problem. The maximum volume is not very loud. The pre-programmed voice prompts are much louder than the voices of other radios that communicate with it. The radio is completely useless if there is no noise around you and the radio is not in your pocket or jacket. There is no contact information in the instructions. Also not included is which frequency is tied to the radio channels. The radio only calls channel 1, channel 2, etc. Was wanting to contact Radioddity about this volume issue but apparently they don't want to be contacted without a contract. She apologized for the problem I was having with these radios and suggested several ways to solve my problems.
