Update: Second year of use, no cracks or tears. The material practically does not wear out. Please note that I taped the pool noodles on all corners and covered the sharp edges. If you don't, it will obviously be torn apart by strong winds. Great quality so far! This cover is supplied on a roll like a sleeping bag. Make sure you place one end of the roll towards the front or back of the RV and unroll in a line. (If your door opens to the passenger side like mine does, make sure the yellow/black striped label is on the front. Please see the photos I've uploaded to see what the label looks like You will find it attached to the inside of the cover.) When your tarp is properly packed this will be the end of the roll for now so place it towards the front of your RV and unfold the roll towards the back of your RV. Of course, if your van's door is on the driver's side or left hand side, you will need to put the yellow and black stripe on the back of the van and roll it forward.) It took me 1 hour to install this. and an extra hour to put all the parachute cords and foam noodle pieces in the corners and tie them together. It's very light, it's waterproof and you can use the RV while this cover is in place as it allows the RV to breathe. A full side will fold up so make sure the opening sides are on the side your door is on before lowering the sides. If your door is on the passenger side there will be a yellow and black striped sign that says 'Front', you will need to put this on the front of the motorhome if you want your cover to roll on the right hand or passenger side. You can also roll forwards and backwards. It's a flimsy material, so I suggest buying pool noodles at the dollar store or Winterhome tubing insulation with slits on the sides to fit over your RV's sharp corners and gutters. Because the material is thin and if it rubs on the corners, it will tear like any other coating (see RV). is rolled up on one side, the anchors hold the roll with pre-sewn velcro and you cannot secure it unless you use trim to hold the rolled up side up. So I bought clips to hold the reel and use the anchors at the same time (see photo) However, most anchors are too short so I tied a loop to the end of the anchors, went to the store and got 10 reels Bought 25ft parachute line. I used two of these to fully secure the tarp If you are careful to cover the sharp edges and secure everything to all the anchors provided I am sure it will last a long time ala through the tarp to make it work, a camper van to cover with a leaky roof. I will add pictures later to better explain how I used it. I used a trailer cover that had 31-33 feet of travel, this fifth wheel is 32 feet long and fits great with the two rails extended.
