So far this laptop has been great value for money. I don't often write reviews but after reading some negative reviews about this particular product I decided to leave mine. First, many people complain about the limited app store you have to use in Windows S mode, but it's very easy to switch to regular Windows. The first thing I do immediately when I start using a new computer is download Chrome. With this computer I just had to follow the steps to download chrome, it told me I can't walk in S mode and asked if I want to switch, I pressed yes and boom, normal windows, no problem. It's true that there aren't any regular old USB ports on this one. However, I bought the adapter for $6 and it doesn't matter. I don't connect too many USB devices to it anyway (it has bluetooth so you can easily get a bluetooth mouse and bluetooth headphones), but the adapter is so cheap I grabbed it anyway, just in case that I'll ever need him. for a flash drive or something. Some people talk about the pen. I'm not sure why. Mine didn't come with a pen. But that didn't matter much either. I was able to get a Microsoft certified stylus from Revain for $30 which works great with it (not a stylus but a real connection stylus). The lack of a pen slot is a bit inconvenient, but I bought a pen clip that attaches to the side of the laptop (also very cheap) and the problem is solved. The processor could be better, it slows things down a bit due to too much Chrome. The tabs are open but for the price I can't complain. Overall, it needed some tweaking (e.g. adapter, stylus, and pen holder), but it was worth it given the low price, light weight, and long battery life. I've used Asus products my whole life and while I was disappointed with the recent low reviews for their computers I couldn't switch to another company and once again I'm not disappointed.
