Pay attention to the size your system tells you
I bought the 12TB size. The packaging says 12 TB, but only 10.95 TB can be used when formatted. To me it looks like it's just an 11TB drive in an enclosure. That's good enough for my use, I just feel like it should have been listed as 11TB instead of 12. I haven't looked at how it's partitioned in Disk Management yet, but I don't know why the entire TB should be invisible to my system.
