Review on Simple Modern Summit Insulated Water Bottle with Straw Lid 1 Liter – Premium Stainless Steel Thermos Flask, 32oz (945ml), Reusable Wide Mouth – Midnight Black by Jack Bhowmik

I bought a 32oz bottle of Lunar. Good is easy. The packaging is simple, it comes with two straws, it phenomenally chills cold liquids (one of the main reasons I bought it), and it's big enough for me to keep track of how many times I've filled it. But small and light enough not to be too heavy when full. Especially when you use ice and it looks nice. The downsides are big for me. It says engraved, it's not. Instead, the black coating is cut almost perfectly and glued onto the bottle. Not a big deal but that's a big reason I chose this one because of the word engraved. It's also not proof of a leak. My car seat was the unfortunate victim that caught my eye. He falls and I watch the water drain out slowly as he lies on his side and confirm it. This means it won't just toss in my pocket when I leave the house (now I have to carry it by hand, I prefer to hold on to the rail) and when I get into any vehicle it should stand upright . Position. Hitting another big thing that helped me buy this bottle: no leaks. It's also difficult to suck through a straw unless I 1) loosen the lid so there's always air exchange, or 2) don't apply slight pressure to the bit of silicone when I'm drinking. I don't like either option as I don't want there to be another way to lick if there is. He was also shocked, but not overly surprised, at how easy it was to dent. It was dropped from about 3 feet onto an industrial grade floor mat due to fatigue (very soft and springy) and has a nice dent on the RIGHT hand side on the rounded edge of the bottle. Not a deal breaker, I would expect it to happen anyway, but it's not. I don't consider dishwasher safety a factor as I knew it would still need to be hand washed as my dishwasher isn't high enough for that. But it may be a factor for others. Despite the bad, I still use it as I have two other options: still bulky Yeti glass or buying plastic water bottles. Both are worse for obvious reasons. However, the leak problem is huge and really ruins a review or a recommendation.
