You can't go wrong with Corelle. More than 50 years later, they still stand the test of time. At least the ones I got from my mother. Wear and bake some of the most durable pieces. I bought these two plates new for myself and they are as strong and reliable as ever. Durable yet lightweight and elegant. So do many wives and mothers. :) I've bought a few Corelle serving items from department stores over the years and they seem to be of the same good quality as they were many years ago.
