Good Base Cards: Games and Accessories

I ordered three decks of these cards and they arrived today. I'm really impressed, but also a little confused. Maybe I should know by now, but I'll tell you. I opened the package to find my cards were wrapped in plastic just like the new deck. There is a sticker stating these cards were used in a casino. My maps are read at two points (top and bottom) of the south point at all turns. It doesn't matter, but if you wanted a simple, basic model, this isn't it. As soon as you pull out the cards, the first thing you will notice is how all the cards are cut off. Each card has a quarter inch cut off. If you are wondering why the cards cannot be reused at this casino. Basically, you can't cheat when buying. Now that the product description says they are used, to satisfy my curiosity I spent $5.70 and bought 3 decks. What may seem like a divorce. But since I bought ACE cards from B&N for $3.70. These cards are from the BEE brand and I really like them. They look brand new and are easy to fan out, mix and match and trim. Now the bee and the bike are made by the same company, so the maps are similar. The bees seem stiffer and the bed is thicker. Which will hopefully prove in the long run that they will outlive the bikes. When I bought three decks I tried to see if I would get lucky and get a deck from MGM or Luxor. It's not like this. I visit Vegas often and know most of the casinos. South Point is actually a pretty good casino, but not very famous. I got all three decks from South Point. One more note: They were from Pennsylvania, not Nevada. So they have to send the cards there to be cut and printed and then sell them there. These cards still got to me a day early, even with USPS. Overall, I would buy these cards a little neater and not hurt the bank. However, if you only want medium-sized cards, go to Costco and buy a 12-card deck for $12.50.
