The idea for this case is brilliant - a hinged removable lid, a removable belt clip, the size and shape of the case. near the edges of the screen, so it can be very difficult to press keys on the virtual keyboard near the edges. When the lid opens, the iPod must be inserted into the case at the TOP. Inside the case is a rubber band that should keep the iPod securely in the case. However, the rubber loses its toughness after a very short time. My iPod slipped out of its case twice – once onto the tiled floor in the kitchen. Luckily it didn't break, but easily could have. I do NOT recommend this case and if you buy one - trust me - do so at your own risk, just to be safe. This shortcoming was not only documented here, but also in the reviews on the Best Buy website. Stay away from this case.
