I used these tires years ago and decided to try them again when someone gave me a very light old mountain bike. They are as fast as I can remember I even rode them back then just to compare them to the firmware 700c, of course they aren't as fast and don't hold as much momentum as the seams, but for a 350g tire they accelerate quickly and are fun to ride I prefer a more durable belted tire for commuting, but I really like these tires for fun rides. So why do we all like 26" (559)? Because for smaller riders, they solve a lot of frame fit problems. My husband likes the 26" for Cruising around town because it accelerates faster and solves frame clearance issues with luggage.We're disappointed that the bike industry has decided to move away from such big wheels.I just hope these tires will continue to be available. Give it a try if you have an old mountain bike. Run 80-100psi if your rims are in good condition and you'll have a blast. Featured!
