Good and quality product, but there are flaws.

About expensive games. The game at the exit costs 50-60 dollars. That at the old rate of 1500-1800. Now 3000-4000, it is clear that the price for us has become inadequate. So the situation in the country is to blame, friends, there's nothing to be done. But I'm not a gambling addict, I don't play everything in a row, I take only the best. At the moment, in half a year I bought only 4 games - one of us, GTA 5, destiny and assassin creed ^ unity. I pass each one slowly, thoughtfully and with pleasure, and the pleasure of passing is worth the money that I gave for them. In addition, there is a market for used discs (by the way, that's why I always take games in boxes, you can sell them later) Nobody forces you to buy second-rate slag for 2-2.5 thousand, choose games more carefully. In general, everything suits me personally, but I don’t know what to advise in this situation with such prices. A console with a second joystick, a PS+ subscription and at least 5 worthwhile games will cost you 40,000. In the new realities, it is possible that a computer will be more profitable if you like to play a lot and in different games. The truth about really amazing games of the level of one of us can be forgotten.

Pros

The price when I bought it (end of summer 2022) - I took the Asian version for 16,000. Now the price is 25,000 and higher, but it's not Sony's fault, but the situation in our country. In dollars, the price is adequate, and do not forget that a good computer now also costs 2 times more to assemble than it was six months ago. Pretty smooth operation. Convenient joystick with essentially useless, but nice buns (speaker, backlight, touch panel). Appearance is not just a faceless box. Noisy moderately, no more than a laptop under load. It also heats up in moderation, the main thing is not to put it in a limited space. Convenient simple quick menu. Remote play is a cool thing, I grab my smartphone and don’t take the telly if the family wants to watch it. Decent graphics in games, well, the main plus of consoles is turned on and play, no need to dance with a tambourine.

Cons

What I personally do not like: the glossy half of the console. I just wiped the dust once, there was a bunch of small scratches. Had I known, I would have put something on it. If you take the console in your hands, the creak goes like from a Chinese tape recorder. The joystick discharges quite quickly, but you can charge it with any smartphone charger, so the jamb is insignificant, you don’t need to sit next to the console. The quality of the joystick is three plus. For several months, the R2 button and sticks began to creak disgustingly. At night, if you play, you can wake up someone who is sleeping in the same room with a creak. Network services for the first couple of months after the purchase worked disgustingly, lags, crashes, did not go online, and so on. Now for January 2022 everything works stably. An inconvenient browser, I just had to watch a movie from it, for the rest there is a tablet. But turning on the movie from the console is a pain. It is doubly torment that in 7 out of 10 cases the console does not want to expand the movie to full screen - it either does not react at all, or it unfolds crookedly (on the floor of the screen, or on the side like that) In GTA 5, FPS subsidence is noticeable when driving fast, and the picture is smeared, as if the TV does not have enough refresh rate, I didn’t expect this from the new console and the game that ran on the xbox 360 without brakes (although the graphics were tweaked, but the engine remained the same). You can play shooters with a gamepad, but it takes a very long time to get used to, and it won’t be as convenient as on a PC anyway, any person with a mouse will kill you in three seconds. There is also a jamb associated with the headset. I use a headset from a smartphone, because I don’t like it when the sound goes into one ear (native with one earpiece). So if you want the interlocutor's voice to go to both headphones, you have to output the sound from the game to the headphones. And it turns out porridge, it is difficult to communicate. If you select in the settings "output only sounds from the chat to the headphones", then the game sounds will come from the speakers, and the chat sounds will become mono again in one left ear. Uncomfortable.
