We bought this as an extra security measure for our home. We ended up hanging them on the basement exit windows in case anyone decides to break in. We also have one set up in the warehouse below. We tested them when we first got them and my goodness they are loud! It's great when you look at things like this. My husband went downstairs and checked them out and even if I was sitting in the living room watching TV with all the downstairs doors closed I could easily hear them working while he tested each one. They appear to be high quality little guards. They come with heavy duty adhesive tape to stick them to any surface you wish to mount them to. They stay safe and don't move. However, if you take them apart (e.g. open a window or door), be sure to plug your ears as no one can get inside. Pros: Good loud sound, very high quality 3M tape to fix, easy to install. and customize Disadvantages: None. We might end up buying another pack of these.
