Since my wife and I drove a lot of miles on my 2010 HD Electra Glide, we were going to get some intercom headsets anyway. It plugs directly into the OEM intercom connector and works with all HD VOX, volume and switch functions. On our first ride with them the speakers were good, the mic clear and it took over 60mph for the wind to really start creating enough static through the mics to make it a bit difficult to hear each other. This is where the big BUT comes in, they are NOT comfortable for long term use. The headset isn't adjustable, the plastic doesn't flex or give, and after an hour or so of wearing I had half-thought to pull and remove it from the pressure points it has on the ear. I intend to change them to make them more travel friendly, but they're still a good buy compared to expensive OEM HD headsets.
