I'm usually hesitant to give a bad review, but I'll do it for that. I'll start from scratch, the idea of this table is great, I love the look and the functionality. The problem is cheap materials and problematic packaging combined with poor instructions and equipment problems. On unboxing I noticed small chips on some parts on the outside edges, not very big (I'll draw them later) but disappointing. The real problem was the foam generating static and not wanting to come off. I used 3 microfiber towels and then finally wet paper towels to catch most of the small balls but it was a hassle. The instructions have been torn apart and they are in black and white, making it incredibly difficult to tell the pages apart. I just started guessing and aligning the screw holes hoping they would line up just right. They include a screwdriver which really helped but ended up removing the screws. Also, the gear for the letter P was in N and it took me 20 minutes to figure it out. Luckily I didn't have the missing hardware. When assembling, the cheapness of materials was felt. It's chipboard and the way they did the edge leaves a kind of white light line that makes it look pretty garish. The wheels and two hand clips are also made of very cheap plastic. The screws were solid but I can't figure out why they used shiny silver screws on the black panels. It sticks out what I don't like. The metal lever works, but I'm concerned about how durable it is and how long it will last. I can see the "tray" sagging under the weight of my 20 ounce water glass. As for the bar itself underneath, there's no cap at the end, which seems odd, like there's nothing stopping it from slipping out of the clamps. I just noticed something. Overall I would say I would be happy with my purchase if it was only $50. But for more than double I'd say look elsewhere. I'm not sure I would have kept it if it hadn't been such a hassle to take it apart and send it back. I hope I like it better and it proves more durable than my first impression.
