I used this kit to remove pins from a 14 GMC Sierra door wiring harness to upgrade the tow mirror wiring harness. A plug-in tool costs between $80 and $100. I just re-used it the other day to disassemble the connector for my hidden light harness to make it easier for me to thread the harness through the grommet. Working with harness connectors is a must!
