I got these panels to help insulate our living room area from the heat that seeped in from our window. My husband had been hanging blankets over the blinds in an effort to retain the air conditioned coolness in the summer, but a few days of this makeshift look was more than I could bear. I ordered a double rod and two sets of these panels in this dark peacock color. When they arrived I installed them, and the next couple of hot days they were put to the test. They work great! The living area stays about 5-6 degrees cooler with these panels, and they look way better than some random blankets hanging from random nails. Extra bonus: they blackout the light really well too!
