I have an upcoming move and plan to do it myself. I used to always prefer a box and tape, but this time I stumbled upon these moving packs. So far I'm very happy with them. For the money it seems good. Overall glad I bought them but wish there was a slightly more expensive option that was better quality and lasted longer. If you're around IKEA, I think their $5 Frakta bag would probably be the best long-term value (although I don't like the design that much). Pros: The design is perfect. The huge zippered top allows you to unzip it and easily access items (mostly like a dresser drawer). The shape can bend (unlike cardboard). Comfortable carrying handles. Ultra light and without a massive box. Love how big they are, they easily fit 1-2 dresser drawers in a bag. The price of $5.50 per bag for 8 bags was very reasonable. The handles seem pretty solid. Cons: The biggest problem is the immediate smell. They smell horrible when you first open them. Although they are quickly used up. After being left to air out for 24 hours (they get up on their own so they're easy to set up and go) the smell was gone. Just make sure you have a day to air them out before using them. The haircut is inaccurate. 2 out of 8 bags had seam gaps of about 2 inches each.
