Review on OTC 6502 Master Brake Flaring by Tony Andrews

I spent hours trying to get a good highlight out of this set before I took a closer look and realized the problem wasn't with me, it was with the instrument. The clamp was not threaded straight, but pressed at an angle. He was always on the wrong side when trying to flare up. Also, the size of the cutouts on the support bar was not the same on the top and bottom halves, which in turn meant that one side was always larger than the other. I bought another cheaper kit and was able to get a good flash the first time. The overall feel of the materials is better than a cheaper kit and it seems like it will last longer, but it doesn't matter how long it lasts if it can't get the job done at all.
